About
Inspired Minds Art & Theatre Classes offers hands-on art and theatre classes along with walk-in creative experiences. Participants can take part in activities such as community theatre, musical theatre, improv, live theatre, live music, film, walk-in pottery painting, drop-in & create, art nights, kids craft days, art meet-ups, and art openings. The program also connects to rotating exhibits, gallery exhibitions, festivals, free community events, handmade gifts, and special events such as the Throw & Glaze Potter's Wheel Experience, 24 Hour Play Festival, Paint & Sip Night: Paint Your Own Abstract Landscape, Free Community Yoga, Weekly Stitching, Hand Sewing, and Fiber Arts Group, and First Friday: Create After Hours.

Inspired Minds Art & Theatre Classes is part of a proudly local, woman-owned arts space where people of all ages come together to make, learn, watch, listen, and connect. The program takes place within an arts environment that includes the Chambers Theatre (an intimate, historic space), art studios, the Amster Maker Studio, and an art gallery and gift shop, and it also offers a virtual tour. Inspired Minds Art Center was founded by Sinéad Whiteside and Susan Guerra, and ©2019 by Inspired Minds, LLC. Susan Guerra has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from UT Austin and a teaching certificate in Special Education, and Sinéad Whiteside has a Bachelor of Arts from UT Austin and a Masters of Education from Texas State University.
The mission of Inspired Minds Art & Theatre Classes is to support both local artists and the community by joining the two together to inspire a dialogue of creativity, passion, fine art, and a celebration of culture. The organization is creatively serving Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, New Braunfels, South Austin, Hays County, and the surrounding areas, and it is partnered with Tandem Arts Partnership to provide the diverse community with greater access to the arts through targeted programs, community outreach, and financial assistance. Inspired Minds has been voted Best Texas Downtown Business, Best Gallery, Best Family Fun, Best Date Spot, and Friendliest Staff.
