• Schedule: Half-day camps Monday through Thursday, with morning and afternoon options
• Price: $275 per camp; $220 per camp through March 31st
Future Set Tech Camp runs summer camps for ages 8 and up and uses free and open-source software whenever possible to mitigate barriers to learning. The program delivers individualized instruction with a student to teacher ratio of 9 to 1 and integrates math instruction into its technology programs rather than using mathematics as a prerequisite. Its mission is to teach currently relevant and forward-thinking technology skills through authentic, personal, creative, accessible projects.
Future Set Tech Camp is a local Austin business that has been operating under the Future Set Tech Camp name from 2015 through 2025. The camp serves families from Austin, Cedar Park, Lakeway, Round Rock, and Leander.
The camp director is Eric Bennett, M.Ed., who has over 15 years of classroom teaching experience including Game Design, Mathematics, Graphic Design, and Physical Education. He is a TEA-certified teacher in high school mathematics through Calculus, has more than 8 years of experience teaching and leading technology-driven summer camps, and is currently teaching at Lake Travis STEM Academy.
