About
Future Set Tech Camp offers coding and game design activities that include Mini-Games, Arcade Games, and Racing Games with Scratch, as well as Minecraft Modding and Beginning Python. Campers also work with GDevelop to create Platform Games, Survivor Games, Adventure Games, and First-Person Games, and they take part in Virtual Reality Coding projects. The program uses real-world tools and techniques along with concept-driven instruction, and it uses free and open-source software whenever possible.

Future Set Tech Camp runs Monday through Thursday with a morning camp from 9 AM to 12 PM and an afternoon camp from 1 PM to 4 PM. The program offers a low student to teacher ratio of 9 to 1. It integrates math instruction into its technology programs rather than using mathematics as a prerequisite.
Future Set Tech Camp is led by Director Eric Bennett, M.Ed. Eric Bennett is a TEA-certified teacher in high school mathematics through Calculus and has over 15 years of classroom teaching experience, including Game Design, Mathematics, Graphic Design, and Physical Education. He has more than 8 years of experience teaching and leading technology-driven summer camps and is currently teaching at Lake Travis STEM Academy.
The camp’s mission statement is: “We teach currently relevant and forward-thinking technology skills through authentic, personal, creative, accessible projects.” Future Set Tech Camp has been in operation from 2015 through 2026. It is a local Austin business that serves families from Austin, Cedar Park, Lakeway, Round Rock, and Leander.
