Educational Programs introduces students to interactive exhibit halls and TEKS-aligned programs. The program includes access to weeklong full day Discovery Camp for Kindergarten through 6th grade and The Whynauts free interactive virtual educational series. Students can encounter gargantuan dinosaur fossil skeletons in the T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall, explore the Moody Family Children’s Museum with interactive exhibits, an expanded toddler area, and a vibrant outdoor play space, experience the Tournament of Flight interactive bird flight experience in a Texas canyon valley, and try The Ultimate Race in the Lamar Hunt Family Sports Hall where visitors can race against a T. rex, a cheetah, or NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

• Price: Parking in the Main Museum Parking Lot (Lot B under the Woodall Rodgers Freeway) is $15 per vehicle. Members receive $5 parking per vehicle when parking in Lot B during operating hours.
The mission of Educational Programs is to spark students’ interest in STEM with interactive exhibit halls and TEKS-aligned programs. The Museum participates in the ASTC Passport Program and Dallas CityPASS. Through support from its philanthropic community, the Museum provides financial aid to Title I schools as defined by the Texas Education Agency. The Museum Cafe is operated by Wolfgang Puck and highlights local Texas ingredients, and a Museum Shop is available. Permitted items include outside food and drinks on the Plaza or in the Lobby prior to entering, baby food, formula, breast milk and juice for infants or toddlers in reasonable quantities within the exhibit halls, diaper bags, fanny packs, smaller backpacks, strollers, wagons or stroller-wagons, cameras without extension devices, and service dogs providing assistance to individuals with disabilities; prohibited items include firearms or weapons of any kind, luggage or larger bags, and alcoholic beverages.
