Fort Bliss Child & Youth Services (CYS) offers activities such as MYC Painting Ceramics, Strength in Sisterhood, Youth Sports, Dungeons & Dragons, Baseball Camp, Sports Officials Clinics, American Red Cross First Aid CPR & AED Training, and a Camping Trip. Programs also include Child Development Services, Youth Programs, Family Child Care (FCC), School Support Services, SKIESUnlimited, Youth Education Support Services (YESS), School Age Services (SAS), and Youth Sports.

The mission of Fort Bliss Child & Youth Services is to provide affordable, high-quality age-appropriate recreational and learning programs that incorporate character building concepts through activities and social interaction for all children. The 21st Annual Bienvenidos a Bliss Relocation Fair connects Soldiers and families with more than 60 local sponsors, vendors, charities, and community organizations ready to help them settle into Fort Bliss and El Paso.
Fort Bliss CYS enforces a Supervision of Children/Home Alone policy that specifies ages and conditions under which children and youth may be left alone or supervise siblings. The curfew policy states that youth 16 years of age and younger may not remain, walk, run, stand, drive, or ride about in or upon any public place on Fort Bliss between 2300 and 0600 hours. It is against Fort Bliss policy to leave children unattended in a vehicle or to leave a vehicle running when unattended by an adult.
Volunteers are always needed in CYS facilities, and all volunteers, including therapists, college students, foster grandparents, contractors, and foreign nationals, regardless of hours, must have backgrounds completed before working in the room or coaching. Foreign nationals must supply a Letter of Good Conduct from their home country with the background check request. It is strongly recommended that youth performing babysitting for siblings or other children take the babysitting course offered through SKIESUnlimited, which will certify them in First Aid and CPR.
