Chara Christian Dance Academy offers dance and music, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, contemporary, drill technique, toddler movement, and adult ballet. The program also offers music lessons, dance camps, summer camps, intensives, special needs classes, and monthly Camp Creative & Adventure sessions that include themes, games, crafts, and dancing. Bloom Fine Arts Preschool and Bloom Fine Arts, a faith-based learning environment, are also part of the program’s offerings.

Chara Christian Dance Academy’s music department includes over 120 students and 8 instructors, and music students receive one-on-one instruction from highly qualified Music Instructors. The academy was founded by Shanna Kirkpatrick. The program states that it provides dance and music instruction in an uplifting, faith-based environment, with attention to each child, creative choreography, and community contributions, and that every student has a “third place” outside of home and school where they are loved, valued, and accepted. Chara Christian Dance Academy is a Youth Protection Advocates in Dance Certified Studio and offers DanceABILITIES for ages 14+ with special needs and adult ballet for ages 18+. Families choose Chara for its community contributions, and the organization is actively looking for positive, enthusiastic, qualified instructors and staff who are passionate about making an impact in the lives of kids and their families.
