Chara Christian Dance Academy Programs include dance classes, music lessons, day camps, and the Bloom Fine Arts Preschool. Children and teens can take classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, contemporary, drill technique, and graded technique classes in various styles, along with options like toddler movement, Boppin’ Babies, Parent/Tot Creative Movement & Acro, Tippy Toes, and Dance and Acro classes. The program also offers piano lessons, Mommy & Me classes, adult ballet, DanceABILITIES for ages 14+ with special needs, and The Workshop powered by Chara where drive meets artistry.

Chara Christian Dance Academy is now enrolling for Season 20. The academy states that it provides exemplary dance and music instruction in an uplifting, faith based environment where every student has a “third place” outside of home and school where they are loved, valued, and accepted. Chara is a Youth Protection Advocates in Dance Certified Studio with a team described as role models who contribute to students’ self-worth, confidence, and character, and families choose Chara for its faith based environment, attention to each child, creative choreography, and community contributions.
Chara Christian Dance Academy has a thriving music department with over 120 students and 8 instructors, and music students receive one-on-one instruction from highly qualified Music Instructors during a 30-minute studio lesson. Bloom Fine Arts is a faith-based learning environment for children ages 3 to 6 that includes developmentally appropriate activities promoting intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development, including exploration of shapes, name and letter recognition, writing, calendar, weather, numbers and counting, and an introduction to Spanish. Chara Christian Dance Academy is actively looking for positive, enthusiastic, qualified instructors and staff who are passionate about making an impact in the lives of kids and their families, and the founder is Shanna Kirkpatrick.
Camp Creative & Adventure are monthly themed dance camps full of fun, creativity, and movement that run in 1.5-hour sessions. Parent & Tot classes start at 9 months, and the program also offers Mommy & Me Classes and adult dance options such as adult ballet (18+). DanceABILITIES serves participants ages 14+ with special needs.
