About the provider

The Harris County Aquatics Program was created in 1992. Its mission is to teach discipline, leadership, and teamwork skills to youth through swimming and to emphasize water safety skills so children can enjoy the water while being aware of the risks.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn-to-Swim classes are taught in four-week sessions. Students attend class twice a week. Each lesson is approximately 30 minutes.
