Camp Stewart for Boys is a summer camp for boys that pairs quality, instructor-led lessons with fun and engaging daily events and activities in a sleep-away camp environment. The program provides character building and life skills to thousands of young men through intentional play and interpersonal and intrapersonal development. Camp Stewart also offers private weddings and Triple S Alumni Weekends in the Spring or Fall for alumni to experience summer camp again.

Camp Stewart for Boys has offered fun and traditional summer camping since 1924 and will be celebrating 100 summers in 2023, with a rich history, innovative programming, and a strong camper legacy. The camp’s mission is to provide a positive and supportive environment where campers can grow into well-rounded leaders of the future while they are still young men in their homes, schools, and communities, expressed in its motto: “Don’t wait until you are a man to be great, be a great boy.” The leadership team includes Owner/Director Jeeper Ragsdale, Director Meredith Ragsdale, Associate Directors George Morgan and Mike Busby, and Camp Matriarch Kathy Ragsdale. Camp Stewart is accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the State of Texas, and it has been at the forefront of a movement across Texas to provide a resource and institution for traditional summer camping in Hunt, Texas.
