Camp Stewart offers activities such as horseback riding, ceramics, shooting baskets, and paddling canoes. The program is described as a place for boys to truly be boys and learn new skills, build relationships, and make memories. It is presented as a place where boys can grow, have adventures, and make friendships that can last a lifetime.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: Open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM during the off-season; closed on weekends, with camp tours available on Saturdays by advance arrangement
Since 1924, Camp Stewart has been described as more than just a summer camp and as an experience. The camp’s mission statement is, “Don’t Wait to Be a Man to be Great, Be a Great Boy!” Camp Stewart is accredited by the American Camp Association and is licensed by the State of Texas.
