Summer Programs at Cistercian include rec camp, athletics camps, academic classes, and enrichment programs during the month of June. Activities include hands-on science, games, Mass, building, making, reading, prayer, puzzles, math, English, Latin, art, drones, robotics, team sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis, strength training, Arduino projects with micro-controller boards and simple electronics circuits, Ancient Board Games such as Go and Mancala, Board (not Bored) Games, and the PowerUp Executive Skills course.

• Schedule: Summer Programs at Cistercian run June 8 to July 3, 2026, with some camps offered weekly for any combination of weeks and some classes meeting daily for the full program length.
Cistercian Preparatory School is an independent Catholic preparatory school educating boys in grades 5–12 in an all-honors curriculum on an 82-acre campus described as a natural “oasis” in the heart of the Metroplex. Summer Prep academic classes are taught by Cistercian’s own faculty and alumni, and Summer Sport athletic clinics are run by Cistercian’s own varsity coaches. The Director of Summer Programs is Michael Humphries, and the leadership team includes Headmaster Fr. Paul McCormick, Assistant Headmaster Gregory Novinski, Head of Upper School and Dean of Students Fr. Ambrose Strong, Head of Middle School Fr. Philip Neri Lastimosa, Director of Athletics Jack Dorn, and other listed administrators and department heads. Cistercian begins its 61st academic year and states a mission rooted in Catholic monasticism, offering challenging programs within a supportive community for talented and motivated young men, with an emphasis on an exceptional all-honors academic program, the enduring values of Catholic education, and personal guidance and support. Cistercian students are partnering with Trinity Park Conservancy to turn hands-on watershed research into future environmental education resources for Dallas-area students.
