Cross Trails Ministry offers programs that include activities such as a ropes course and swimming. The program uses facilities at Camp Chrysalis that include a large playing field and a shaded sports court in addition to these activities.

Cross Trails Ministry is a year-round ministry to youth, adults, and families. Its mission is to provide unique settings and experiences in which youth, adults, and families are strengthened in their relationships with Christ, each other, the church, and community. It is based in the Hill Country of southwestern Texas and offers summer camp and retreats to thousands each year. Two sites are at the heart of this ministry: Lutheran Camp Chrysalis near Kerrville and Ebert Ranch Camp near Harper, and it also offers off-site opportunities in unique locations around Texas and beyond. Camp Chrysalis operates year-round by hosting summer camp and retreat opportunities and offers unique facilities and fun activities for all ages. Cross Trails Ministry is operated by the congregations of the Southwestern Texas Synod of the ELCA and is a 501c3 religious non-profit organization.
A camper described the experience by saying, "It meant everything. It showed me who God is." A camper parent said, "I have seen her more involved in church, praying more and teaching her sister everything she learned."
