Cross Trails Ministry – Camp Chrysalis

Cross Trails Ministry – Camp Chrysalis includes activities such as a ropes course and swimming. The program takes place at a site that has air-conditioned and heated cabins connected to a large playing field with a shaded sports court, a ropes course, a swimming pool, and other on-site features. Cross Trails Ministry offers year-round camp and retreat ministry through Camp Chrysalis and related programs.

Cross Trails Ministry states that its mission is to provide unique settings and experiences in which youth, adults and families are strengthened in their relationships with Christ, each other, the church and community. Cross Trails Ministry is operated by the congregations of the Southwestern Texas Synod of the ELCA and is a 501c3 religious non-profit organization. The ministry’s two main sites are Lutheran Camp Chrysalis in Kerrville and Ebert Ranch Camp in Harper, and it also offers off-site opportunities in locations around Texas and beyond. One camper said, “It meant everything. It showed me who God is.” A camper parent said, “I have seen her more involved in church, praying more and teaching her sister everything she learned.”
