Laredo School of Contemporary Dance (LSCD)

Laredo School of Contemporary Dance offers dance training with curriculum-based instruction and pre-professional level training. The program welcomes new students and offers the first class free for new students. Instruction takes place within a creative learning atmosphere with high-quality dance training standards.

• Ages: 18 months–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday late afternoon to evening, and Saturday morning to mid-afternoon

The Laredo School of Contemporary Dance opened its doors in August 2011. It serves as a resource for dancers in Laredo and surrounding areas. Dance training is led by qualified dance professionals with degrees in dance, ballet and contemporary dance certifications, and/or professional dance experience. Front desk staff include Elizabeth Rodriguez and Silvia Acosta. The mission of the Laredo School of Contemporary Dance is to provide students with a creative learning atmosphere that will nurture well-rounded dancers, maintain high-quality dance training standards, and provide students of all ages with the skills, discipline, and ethic needed to succeed in the field of dance.
