Glaze Ceramic Studio offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced ceramic courses in both hand building and wheel throwing. The program also includes educational classes, workshops, lecture series, and artist in residence programs that focus on the ceramic arts.

Glaze Ceramic Studio is an artist run ceramic studio and art center focusing on the education and promotion of the ceramic arts in Texas. Its mission is to create a local community around the ceramic arts and to curate international ceramic artists as an educational resource for the arts community in McKinney and surrounding areas. Through educational classes, workshops, lecture series, and artist in residence programs, Glaze seeks to create a thriving arts community and environment for all skill levels in the ceramic arts. The studio also offers private studios and memberships for practicing ceramic artists.

Glaze Ceramic Studio is owned by Adam and Angie Knoche. The teaching and resident artists include Barroso, who received a BFA in art from the University of Oklahoma, an MFA in ceramics from the University of North Texas in Denton, and the Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist Award in May 2020. Daniel graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2007, worked as a studio assistant for ceramic artist Victor Babu and painter Ron Slowinsky, and has been a Resident Artist at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, The Armory Art Center, Pottery Northwest, and The Clay Studio. Grace Eun Mi Lee received her BFA in Craft Design from Suwon University in 2005 and her MFA in Ceramics from Hongik University in 2009, was an Artist-in-Residence at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto from 2011 to 2014, and has received multiple grants and awards from organizations including the Ontario Arts Council, the Ontario Crafts Council, and the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. Kylie earned a degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics from The University of Arkansas. Mylan received a BFA in Illustration from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and an MFA from Southern Methodist University, and studied ceramics in Japan at Jic Ceramic Studio in Shibuya and Furuki in Mashiko. Karen Hamilton has been an art educator for 17 years, teaching ceramics and design at Collin College, the University of North Texas, and the Arkansas Art Center in Little Rock, and she received both her BFA (2006) and MFA (2010) in ceramics from the University of North Texas, served as Ceramic Lab Technician there from 2010–2013, apprenticed with ceramic artist Don Reitz in 2009, and has exhibited her work nationally and sells her work annually at the Texas Clay Festival in Gruene, Texas.
