Next Level Jiu Jitsu offers a free class for all new students, called “The Basics of Jiu Jitsu,” which is geared specifically for beginners and brand-new students. The studio offers multiple class times throughout the day and is open six days a week. The program includes a BJJ Kids class for ages 4–6 that focuses on self-defense and dealing with bullies, and submissions are not taught at this level. The BJJ Youth Beginners class is for athletes ages 7–12 in their first year of jiu jitsu, and the BJJ Youth Advanced class is for students ages 7–12 who have earned their grey-white belt or higher. Students at kids and youth levels can compete in tournaments with approval from Professor Ted and their parents. The adult program is for ages 13 and up and welcomes all ages, fitness levels, and skill levels. The program promotes discipline, respect, integrity, responsibility, and confidence, and aims to fulfill the needs of everyone in the family. The structured learning environment takes students of different ages and abilities and transforms them in accordance with their personal goals. Everyone is offered a free class to showcase the instruction, training environment, and the martial art.
