The program offers traditional outdoor summer camps, indoor specialty camps, and overnight camps, including a Traditional Overnight Camp and a Half-Week Adventure overnight option.

• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Spring Break Camp runs March 16–20 (with Waco’s March 9–13), and Summer Camp runs May 26–August 17 with camp hours typically 7am–6pm; Traditional Overnight Camp is a weeklong Sunday–Saturday session, and Half-Week Adventure is a two-night overnight program.

The YMCA of Central Texas began its history during the 1970s. Its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The organization states that core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility are the foundation of its summer camp programs. It notes partnerships with school districts, community businesses and well trained staff as the “people behind the Y” who keep these programs strong each year. The YMCA of Central Texas states that it is committed to a diverse and inclusive environment where all are welcome and have access to Y programs and services, and that it provides financial aid for memberships, making programs and services accessible to all, regardless of affordability. Campers are instructed to bring a nut-free lunch and a water bottle, and a snack is provided.
