About
Nova Fencing & Archery Club offers Beginner Fencing classes, saber classes, epee classes, and Fencing Classes, along with a Fencing Camp and a Competitive Fencing Camp. The program also includes a Try Archery class, a six week Explore Archery course, Private & Trio Archery Lessons, Open Range Archery, Archery Tag, and Archery Tag Parties. Families can also choose from Summer Camps and After-School Programs.

Head Coach Greg Kaidanov leads the coaching staff, and he learned his coaching techniques from working alongside his father, US Fencing Hall of Fame Coach Emik Kaidanov. The coaching staff includes a member of the USA National Archery Team and the only fencing Maestros in Virginia. The club states that its mission is to instill a love of sport and to provide its athletes the opportunity to pursue their dreams, and it identifies its values as community, accountability, and excellence. Nova Fencing & Archery Club notes that its coaches, led by Coach Greg Kaidanov, work to create a friendly environment where fencers of all ages and abilities can find success, and that it provides a friendly, inclusive atmosphere where athletes can excel.
Nova Fencing & Archery Club reports that fencing is an Olympic sport with college opportunities and that fencers have a distinct advantage when it comes to college applications. The club states that fencing and archery are extremely safe and are ranked on par with badminton for safety, and that these are life-long sports where physique and age are not limitations.
