Piedmont Family YMCA Youth Programs (After School, Camps & Sports)

Piedmont Family YMCA Youth Programs (After School, Camps & Sports) include After School, Summer Day Camp, Power Scholars, and Teen Leadership Camp, along with youth flag football and basketball. The programs also connect with aquatics options such as lessons for ages 6 months through adults and the competitive Cavalier Aquatics youth swim team, as well as group exercise, personal training, and group training. Additional activities include adult volleyball and events like the Halloween Hustle 10K Run and 2 Mile Family Walk.

The Piedmont Family YMCA association in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a nonprofit with several different locations. It offers an Early Learning and Preschool program for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K at the Jefferson School. Membership at the Y has no contract or long-term commitment, and support for the Y provides access to facilities and programs such as sports, camp, and child care to people of all income levels in the community. Educational programs are located in Greene County and Charlottesville City Schools, and After School and other youth programs are located in Charlottesville City Schools and Greene County Public Schools. The Senior Director of School Age Programs is Cassandra Barnes.
