Virginia Outside Adventures offers kids the chance to spend time outside biking, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. The program includes summer camps, overnight camps, and school year programs. Activities take place in a variety of outdoor settings described as ranging from Shenandoah to the Chesapeake.
Since 2005, Virginia Outside Adventures has stated that its mission is to introduce thousands of kids to the wonders of the outdoors. The leadership team includes Owner and Camp Director Thomas Huss, Camp Manager Dylan Norvell, and Founder Tee Clarkson. Thomas attended Old Dominion University, graduating in 2000 with a degree in history and education, earned a Post-Masters in Educational Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth, and became a National Board Certified Teacher. Dylan attended Washington and Lee University, played soccer for all four years, and graduated with a degree in Geology and Environmental Science.
