Virginia Outside offers kids activities that include biking, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. The program includes summer camps, overnight camps, and school year programs, as well as Virginia Outside Adventures from Shenandoah to the Chesapeake. The Charlottesville location is independently owned and operated.

Since 2005, Virginia Outside has stated a mission to introduce thousands of kids to the outdoors. The leadership team includes Owner and Camp Director Thomas Huss, Camp Manager Dylan Norvell, and Founder Tee Clarkson. Thomas attended Old Dominion University, graduating in 2000 with a degree in history and education, earned a Post-Masters in Educational Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth, and became a National Board Certified Teacher. Dylan attended Washington and Lee University, played soccer for four years, and graduated with a degree in Geology and Environmental Science.
