About
GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps focuses on positional training, individual and group stick work, and position-specific training for attack, midfield, and defensive players. Campers take part in dynamic warm-ups, specialized stick routines with targeted fundamental drills, and work on skills such as ground balls, dodging (split, roll, face), shooting, clearing, triangle offense, man up/man down, and face-off and wing play. The daily schedule includes team concepts, situational and unsettled game play, fast breaks, small-sided games, 6v6 games, camp games, daily scrimmages, and camp championships.

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps runs four-day lacrosse camps that provide 20+ hours of field time over 4 days for Day and Half Day options, and 4–6 hours of training each day for overnight campers. Overnight campers stay in dorm rooms, have all-you-can-eat buffet meals, and take part in evening activities. Campers are evaluated on the first day and placed in groups based on age and skill level, and the camp is open to any and all entrants, with separate girls’ and boys’ lacrosse camps and groupings based on age and skill level.
Camp Director Evan Rodger is the Head Boys’ Lacrosse Coach at Washington-Liberty High School, the True Lacrosse (’27) Head Coach, and the Lacrosse Program Director at Washington-Liberty High School in Arlington, VA. He played at Clemson University, previously worked as a Video Coordinator at Georgetown University, and has over a decade of high school and travel lacrosse coaching experience in Virginia, guiding numerous teams across the mid-Atlantic region. GameBreaker notes that its directors and coaches include current and former professional players, winning college coaches, and high school and youth club coaches, and that its staff is Double-Goal Certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Since 2001, GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps has offered lacrosse instructional programs, with more than 100,000 players attending during that time. The camps state a mission of providing young athletes with the opportunity to become better lacrosse players by providing instruction from top coaches in a positive and fun atmosphere. GameBreaker is recognized as a national leader for lacrosse instruction and education, and its staff is described as fun, energetic, and experienced, with a low camper-to-coach ratio and groupings based on age and skill level.
Campers are required to bring all their own lacrosse equipment, including a stick, helmet, elbow pads, shoulder pads, cleats, sneakers, mouthguard, a refillable water bottle, lunch or snack, and health forms, as no equipment is provided. Families are asked to label every item, and all items remain the responsibility of the camper.
