About
Sparkles! Early Learning Academy offers a play-based learning experience that includes games and activities. Children spend time exploring a new world of numbers, science, math, and reading as part of the accredited play-based curriculum. The program includes infant daycare starting from 6 weeks of age up to 4 years of age, a Pre-K class using creative curriculum, and engaging programming for school-aged students, including before and after care for all students.
• Ages: 0–12 years old
• Schedule: Extended hours (6am–7pm, M–F) and flexible scheduling.
Sparkles! Early Learning Academy uses developmentally appropriate practices with academic programming that supports kindergarten readiness initiatives and focuses on helping children build confidence, independence, and readiness. The program uses the WatchMeGrow app for live video streaming of classrooms so parents have live camera access to their child's classroom, and all classrooms are equipped with secure video streaming. Security features include security cameras, an entrance code required for access, and office staff escorting those without the code, along with easy, smooth drop-off and pick-up. Communication tools include the BrightWheel app for messaging teachers, attendance tracking, daily reports, and clear communication that keeps parents informed. Certified teachers lead the classrooms, and the program has no religious affiliation while encouraging awareness of the interconnection of all living things through reflective periods. Sparkles! Early Learning Academy is interracial, interfaith, and serves children from many ethnic backgrounds. Its mission statement is: “By serving as a trusted extension of your family, Sparkles! strives to provide a unique learning childcare experience in a secure and nurturing environment.” Sparkles! is committed to supporting children and their families in order to help make a better community and pave the way for a better future.
Parent reviews describe teachers and staff as involved and caring, with specific mentions of Miss Yeisy, Miss Gladys, Ms. Danielle, and Ms. Ivory. One parent notes that their son on the autism spectrum lights up as they approach the school and has a strong bond with his teacher. Another parent shares that their 1-year-old loves attending, that teachers keep families updated throughout the day with photos and notes, and that they chose one teacher to babysit outside of daycare. Additional feedback mentions children enjoying the games and activities, daily projects that children talk about at home, and positive experiences over nearly two years of attendance.
