Fifty/50 Martial Arts Academy Youth Programs offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Wrestling, and Kickboxing for youth ages 3 to 18. Youth offerings include BJJ Minis Youth, BJJ Juniors Youth, Youth Judo, BJJ Teens Youth, Kickboxing Kids Youth, and an invite-only Combat club for young athletes.

Programs

  • BJJ Minis Youth — Pre-school & Kindergarten · Tue/Thu 4:45–5:15 pm; Sat 10:00–10:30 am · Must be 3+ and fully potty-trained.
  • BJJ Juniors Youth — 1st–6th grade · Mon–Fri 5:15–6:15 pm; Sat 10:30–11:30 am · A fun introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling. No experience needed.
  • Youth Judo — 1st–12th grade · Tue 5:15–6:15 pm; Sat 10:30–11:30 am · Open to everyone from a brand-new white belt to a young athlete chasing national titles.
  • BJJ Teens Youth — 7th–12th grade · Mon/Wed/Fri 4:15–5:15 pm · Three sports in one class: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Judo.
  • Kickboxing Kids Youth — 1st–8th grade · Sat 11:30 am–12:30 pm · Learn real kickboxing fundamentals in a fun, structured, coach-led environment.
  • Combat club — Runs alongside the Junior & Teen programs · Invite only. A dedicated competition track for young athletes.
  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — Youth | Teens | Adults

About the provider

The academy was founded in 2008 by Ryan Hall, who is described as a UFC veteran and instructor. The youth program started in 2010, and the page states that it was officially established in December 2010. Jen Hall started the youth program in 2010 and is described as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and accomplished international competitor. David Terao and Josh Terao lead youth Judo onsite. The academy is serving Northern Virginia.

Youth students are expected to memorize and recite the Black Belt Creed at the beginning of every practice. Teens 14+ are also welcome to train in adult classes. High schoolers interested in Judo may also try adult Judo classes.
