• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: Youth Judo classes are held every Tuesday and Saturday.

Founded in 2008, Fifty/50 Martial Arts Academy describes its mission as providing a progressive, top-level training ground for students of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts, and states that its youth programs are tailored to reinforce confidence, discipline, dedication, hard work, teamwork, and respect, with the expectation that these work habits and skills transfer to success in the classroom and beyond. The youth Judo classes are described as being designed for elementary and middle school students in 1st–8th grade and are open to both beginners and experienced practitioners. The program offers an option called Combat Club for dedicated youth who want extra training and to participate in sport competition, and a free one week trial is offered for sign-ups. An online training platform is available for families who live too far away or have busy schedules.

The athletic performance center is staffed by Performance Coach Josh Peacock, who is a Certified Athletic Trainer with a background in Exercise Science and Strength & Conditioning. The striking program was created by Thanh Le, a former ONE Championship World Champion, Ultimate Fighter 22 veteran, and 5th Degree Taekwondo Black Belt. The Judo program is run by a #1 Ranked USA Judoka, and the wrestling program is taught by an NCAA All-American and US Open medalist. The youth Judo program is led by David Terao, a #1 Ranked USA Judo National Team Member at 60 kg and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. The academy is owned and operated by Ryan Hall, a world-renowned competitor, instructor, and UFC fighter.

Fifty/50 Martial Arts Academy is described as Northern Virginia’s premier Mixed Martial Arts Academy and the premier Mixed Martial Arts facility in the state of Virginia. The academy reports that its competition team has earned 38 World Championship medals across events including the ADCC World Championship, IBJJF World Championship, IBJJF No-Gi World Championship, IBJJF World Master, and IBJJF World Master No-Gi, as well as 42 Pan American medals and 24 athletes who have medaled at the national or international level in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions. Fifty/50 states that it is the only academy in the DMV area with four full-time international-level Black Belt instructors. One parent testimonial from Chris, a white belt and parent of a Fifty/50 student, describes the atmosphere as professional yet kid and family friendly, and notes that the instructors are “top notch, patient and available,” and that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is “great exercise and builds strong bonds.”
