Sweetheart Parent Child Dance

Sweetheart Parent Child Dance is a dance event where children and their parent or guardian attend together. Children are invited to come for a fancy “date” with their parent or guardian that centers on dancing. The event takes place at The Alden Theatre, which is part of McLean Community Center (MCC).

• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Friday, Feb. 13, 7–9 p.m.

McLean Community Center (MCC) provides family fun, events and educational programs for residents of McLean, Virginia. The McLean Community Center is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. MCC residents pay the lowest price and are never charged convenience fees. Financial assistance is available for Dranesville Small District 1A residents to attend MCC-sponsored programs and activities.

The Alden is fully ADA compliant and will make arrangements for reasonable accommodations. The Alden is equipped with an infrared audio system for those who are hearing impaired. Seating is available for those who use wheelchairs and their companions. Seat cushions are available at all performances. Reusable earplugs and small packs of tissues are available. McLean Community Center has partnered with AMS Planning and Research to establish the center’s new strategic plan.
