About

Edible Education offers cooking classes, enrichment programs, camps, birthday parties, and events where kids prepare real food. The program uses real foods and does not use artificial dyes, and it features a mascot named Eddie.

Edible Education was created in 2010. Since 2010, the program has taught over 80,000 students in Virginia and Georgia. Its programming has taken place in over 700 locations across the United States, Canada, and Japan. The mission of Edible Education is to get kids excited about preparing real food via its cooking classes, enrichment programs, camps, birthday parties, and events.

The leadership team includes Founder and CEO Ann Butler, Teaching Chef Chef Tunstille, Teaching Chef Chef Tomi, Lead Teaching Chef and Coordinator Chef Ashanti, Teaching Chef Chef Robin, and Teaching Chef Chef Q. Edible Education LLC is seeking partnerships with schools and community centers to provide a food preparation based learning experience. The American Heart Association, through Michelle McLees, Director of Marketing and Communications, states that it applauds Edible Education for how much it helps children and adults develop healthy eating habits that will bring lifelong benefits.
