Edible Education offers cooking classes, enrichment programs, camps, birthday parties, and events that focus on cooking education. The program uses a food preparation based learning experience, and it features a mascot named Eddie. Its tagline is “Real food. Real kids. Real good!”

Edible Education was created in 2010 and has taught over 80,000 students in Virginia and Georgia. It has provided programming in over 700 locations across the US, Canada, and Japan. The mission of Edible Education is to get kids excited about preparing real food via its cooking classes, enrichment programs, camps, birthday parties, and events. The leadership team includes Ann Butler – Founder and CEO; Chef Tunstille – Teaching Chef; Chef Tomi – Teaching Chef; Chef Ashanti – Lead Teaching Chef and Coordinator; Chef Robin – Teaching Chef; and Chef Q – Teaching Chef. Edible Education LLC is also seeking partnerships with schools and community centers to provide a food preparation based learning experience. The American Heart Association states that nearly 1 in 3 overweight or obese kids under the age of 18 faces the threat of early heart disease because of their weight and applauds Edible Education for how much it helps children and adults develop healthy eating habits that will bring lifelong benefits.
