Compassion Unleashed Critter Camp

Compassion Unleashed Critter Camps takes place within a larger campus that includes animal care, training, and support spaces. Campers may spend time in areas that are part of sheltering operations, an adoption center, Wilma’s Admissions Wing, a Track & Training Center, a gift shop, and administrative offices. The program is connected to facilities that include a low-cost, full-service veterinary hospital and a spay and neuter clinic, as well as multiple training and dog-focused areas.

The campus connected to Compassion Unleashed Critter Camps includes the Robins-Starr Humane Center, the Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital, Smoky’s Spay & Neuter Clinic, a Track & Training Center, Smoky’s Training Center, the Linhart School for Dogs Area, and the Lora Robins Gift Shop. The Robins-Starr Humane Center houses sheltering operations, an adoption center, Wilma’s Admissions Wing, the Track & Training Center, the gift shop, and administrative offices. The Lora Robins Gift Shop offers Richmond SPCA logo gear and apparel, dog and cat treats and toys, pet leashes, collars, crates, beds, cleaning supplies, and more, and all proceeds from the shop benefit homeless pets in their care. The Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital is described as a low-cost, full-service veterinary hospital. The leadership team for communications includes communications director Dori McGuire.
