Visual Arts Center of Richmond Classes and Camps offers hands-on experiences in clay, drawing and painting, fiber, flameworking, glass, letterpress, metals, darkroom photography, printmaking, wood, painting, photography, decorative arts, digital media, creative writing, writing, and other visual media. The program takes place in a renovated 30,000-square-foot arts center that includes 17 professionally equipped studios and the 1,800-square-foot True F. Luck Gallery, which focuses on the materials and processes of contemporary artists. VisArts offers more than 1,600 visual and creative arts classes each year, taught by more than 250 instructors.
