Virginia Repertory Theatre Summer Camps are run by Virginia Repertory Theatre, a regional professional theater. The camps feature instruction by some of Virginia’s finest theatre artists and educators.

Virginia Repertory Theatre is one of the largest performing arts organizations in Central Virginia. It is a member of TCG, National New Play Network (NNPN), and the RPAA. Virginia Rep recently celebrated the 70th anniversary of its founding in Hanover County in 1953 as Barksdale Theatre. In 2012, after over a decade of sharing one staff, Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV merged to form Virginia Repertory Theatre. The organization’s mission is to entertain, challenge and uplift its communities through the power of live theatre.
