About the provider

The Mendiola family opened The Base Camas. The leadership team includes Gil Mendiola, Scott Gillis, Andre Warren, Hieu Duong, Mihaela Loss, Wayne Robbins IV, Justin Byrd, and Jessie Warren. The mission is to make high-quality martial arts training in Camas, Washington accessible to everyone and help individuals and families build confidence, discipline, and physical wellness through martial arts. The Base Camas also offers subsidized programs for low-income individuals and families, subsidized programs for those receiving government social services or living in low-income housing, and first responder discounts.

No previous martial arts experience is required for the Adult Jiu Jitsu Program. Kids BJJ is designed for ages 4-14. Adult Jiu Jitsu is ages 15+. Adults BJJ is ages 16+.
