Tree Hill Learning Center is a privately owned and independently operated Early Childhood Education Center that offers childcare, preschool, and kindergarten programs. Its curriculum is described as without comparison in the East Vancouver area and includes programs that span from infants, called “little Seedlings,” to older children, called “big Redwoods.” The center is described as providing a nurturing, supportive, and stimulating environment for children enrolled in its programs.

Tree Hill Learning Center includes locations referred to as Tree Hill Camas and Tree Hill Vancouver, with a second Vancouver location that opened in October 2020 and was fully enrolled within six months. The program’s mission states that it strives to cultivate a community that puts the children in its care first, while also supporting their families and staff, with a goal of enabling each child to have fun, explore, and express their individuality while providing a solid foundation for future academic success. The mission also states that the community values kindness and respect for each other, the school, the environment, and the world.
Tree Hill Learning Center originally opened in 2006, was purchased by Dana Christiansen in 2008, and officially became Tree Hill Learning Center in 2014. Dana Christiansen graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Child and Family Studies, specializing in administration, and has been an owner and director in early childhood education for the past 25 years. The leadership team is listed as Miss Dana – Owner & CEO; Miss Jenn – Assistant Director Camas; Miss Jessica – Assistant Director Vancouver; Miss Meagan – Executive Director; Miss Ally – Program Supervisor Camas; and Miss Shay – Assistant Director Vancouver.
In community involvement, Dana serves on the board for the Washington State Childcare Center Association, where she engages in advocacy and legislative efforts to uplift the childcare sector across the state. Dana also founded the Tree Hill Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships for Clark County high school students and current staff who are pursuing an associate degree in early childhood education.
