Schack Art Center Youth & Teen Art Classes include activities such as Alcohol Marker Illustration, Headwear 101: From Beanies to Balaclavas, Paper Quilling: The Art of Rolled Paper, and Make It Now: Votives. The program also offers Raised Stencil Art with Modeling Paste, Intermediate Stained Glass, Art Sparks!, Linocut Printmaking, Spoon Carving, Intro to Glass Mosaics, Making Unique Fabric Mache Bowls, Clay Snakes, and Kids' Drawing. Teen Night invites teens to create unique artwork inspired by a monthly theme and includes an opportunity to check out the Schack Hotshop and Galleries, with free snacks and supplies provided.

Founded in 1974 as the Arts Council of Snohomish County and later renamed in honor of John and Idamae Schack, Schack Art Center offers inclusive and accessible arts programming that fosters creativity, engages the community and cultivates partnerships to enrich lives through the transformative power of the arts. The center hosts juried and invitational exhibitions throughout the year, highlighting both emerging and established voices, and features admission-free contemporary exhibitions that highlight social justice, celebrate cultural diversity, and bring non-traditional art to the forefront. Schack Art Center is striving to be an anti-racist organization committed to the pursuit of social justice and describes itself as the premier visual arts destination between Seattle and Vancouver B.C. The facility also includes a curated gallery store representing over 200 local artists, the only public glassblowing hot shop north of Seattle, and offers hands-on classes along with arts education and outreach programs.
