Curiosity Camps offers activities in science, art, and outdoor play. Campers conduct experiments, create art, build, and play with friends in a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) setting for an engaging summer learning experience. The program includes award winning enrichment programs that integrate these hands-on activities.
Tim Lowell leads Curiosity Camps. He is a teaching member of the Bainbridge Island Arts in Education consortium and has been leading art and science enrichment programs in Puget Sound schools for over 15 years. He has worked in partnership with the Bainbridge Island Park Department in creating Curiosity Camp summer sessions and is a frequent workshop presenter at early childhood and elementary education conferences in Washington and Oregon. The program follows the mission that having fun with art, science, and nature fosters lifelong appreciation and curiosity for learning.
