About

Path with Art Classes & Workshops offers a range of arts activities, including singing groups such as Path with Art Singers and Veterans Choir, visual arts classes like Carve and Print: An Introduction to Relief Printmaking and The Colors of Pride: Exploring the Power of Color, Narrative, and Symbolism in Art, and writing classes such as It’s Called a Play for a Reason! The Joy of Playwriting and Writing From Life + Publishing. Participants can also take part in Advanced Podcasting, Learning Songs by Ear on Guitar or Ukulele, Fold & Flourish: An Accordion Adventure, Open Studio, Jam Sessions, Friday Workshop, Ambassador-led Workshop, and receive Art Kits and Access Art.

• Schedule: Winter program runs February 2–March 27, with each listed Winter 2026 class meeting for 8 sessions; registration is open January 6–19, and placement confirmations are sent by email by January 23.
• Price: All programming is free and all applicable materials are included.

During the Winter program, participants can enroll in Path with Art Singers or Veterans Choir, another 8-week class, an Art Kit, any Friday Workshop, one Ambassador-led Workshop, Open Studio, Jam Sessions, and Access Art, with Access Art registration opening later in the quarter. Upcoming spring performances are planned for Path with Art Singers at Northwest Folklife and at First Thursday at the Seattle Art Museum. All applicable materials are included for classes, guitars and ukuleles are available for use in Learning Songs by Ear on Guitar or Ukulele, and The Colors of Pride uses drawing and coloring materials, scissors, glue, and paper; Carve and Print involves physical manipulation of materials that may require hand dexterity.

Path with Art states that it provides strengths-based arts engagement, training, and advocacy to support individuals, public health, and community wellbeing, and is guided by a vision that the power of art is available for all and connects individuals with self, community, and society. Since 2008, Path with Art has provided arts engagement to thousands of systems-impacted individuals and 55 social service partners, facilitates convenings, and contributes to research to shift policy and perception of arts as a public health resource, and acknowledges being located on the unceded ancestral land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish Tribe. The organization’s leadership team includes CEO Holly Jacobson, Chief Strategic Officer James Miles, Interim Chief Operations Officer Stephanie Cherrington, Development Director Susannah Hale, Development Manager Levi Erdman, Grants Manager Abby Anderson, Partnerships Manager Rachael Androski, Director of Marketing and Events Amanda Carter Gomes, Program Engagement Specialist Ayan Mohamed, and Director of Arts + Events Wynne Pei. Staff credentials include backgrounds and degrees in art, studio art, public administration, social work, education, communication studies, and extensive experience in teaching, non-profit management, fundraising, creative strategy, community building, digital storytelling, and arts and events leadership. Path with Art also offers the artREMEDY training program, sharing trauma-informed, strengths-based arts practices, and presents Flowstates: Winter Visions Exhibition and Estuary: Fall Visions Exhibition free to all.
