Lil’ Kickers started in 1999 with the mission, “We wanted to build a kids’ program that was fundamentally sound and outrageously fun.” What began in three Arena Sports indoor soccer facilities in Seattle, Washington, has grown into a national franchise with more than 130 locations in 29 states and provinces, with a total enrollment of over 2,800,000 kids and growing. Nationwide, Lil’ Kickers has been a source of fun and individual growth for over 2,500,000 kids. The program offers carefully curated classes with low child-to-coach ratios, an age-appropriate curriculum, and a player-to-coach ratio of 8:1 in Skills Institute classes. It is rooted in child development theory and focuses on social, emotional, and cognitive skills along with physical exercise, and each facility operating a Lil’ Kickers program goes through training to support consistent instruction.

Parents have shared that their children enjoy the program and notice growth in skills and confidence. One parent from Seattle, WA, said, “My son has enjoyed this program more than any other he has been in, and he’s played A LOT!” Another parent from Lenexa, KS, said their children “LOVE the imaginative games that are teaching soccer skills without them realizing it” and that it has been “perfect for their age.” A parent from Issaquah, WA, noted that all three of their kids have been in Lil’ Kickers “because they love it” and because they could see their children “growing in skill and confidence.”
