LVR Soccer Club Youth Recreational Soccer

LVR Soccer Club Youth Recreational Soccer offers a Player Academy Program for boys and girls entering kindergarten, a House League Program with separate teams for boys and for girls, and a City League Program. It also offers spring soccer, with eight games.

Programs

• Player Academy Program (U6) — U6 · Saturday 10:30 am to 11:30 am · Skills-development program for boys and girls entering kindergarten. 8 weeks.
• House League Program (U7-U9) — U7-U9 · Weekly practice and weekend game; Saturday (U7-U8), Sunday (U9) · Distinct teams for boys and for girls, organized by age. 8 weeks.
• City League Program (U10-U19) — U10-U19 · Practices typically begin in late August; games start the weekend after Labor Day and continue into November · U10-U16 teams play in SYSA citywide leagues; U17-U19 teams graduate to League Washington.
• Spring Soccer (U6-U19) — U6-U19 · Early April to mid-June · Eight games.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• General schedule: Fall recreational season runs after Labor Day and is made up of three leagues. Practice schedules are typically available in early August for teams to start practicing by mid-late August. House League and City League games start the weekend after Labor Day. Spring soccer runs from April to June. Scores and standings are only kept for U11 and older teams.

About the provider

LVR was founded in 1969. It is part of the Seattle Youth Soccer Association (SYSA), Washington Youth Soccer, and U.S. Youth Soccer, and its mission is to support Seattle youth soccer through inclusive and comprehensive recreational programs.

Players are categorized into age groups based on the Player Age Chart. Families are encouraged to register their kids in the club where they live, but there is no requirement to do so. Standings and game scores are only kept for U11 and older teams. Spring soccer is optional and has no official practice space available. No more than 3 select players are allowed per team, and premier players are not allowed to participate in recreational soccer.
