About
Seattle United UNITE is a soccer program where participants play and practice soccer. The program is part of Seattle United, which provides soccer training and competitive play options at the Elite, Premier, and Select levels, with teams competing in leagues such as the Elite Clubs National League, WYS Regional Club League, and WYS North Puget Sound League. UNITE is tailored for children with intellectual and/or physical disabilities and focuses on soccer activities within that setting.

Seattle United is a nonprofit player development club chartered in 2009 by Seattle Youth Soccer Association as part of the Washington Youth Soccer fabric. The club’s mission is to provide a competitive youth soccer program that inspires players to develop to their highest potential and experience the rewards of pursuing excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Core values include demonstrating integrity, respect, and sportsmanship; instilling a lifelong love of the game; building a strong sense of community; taking a whole-life, player-centric perspective in decisions; and developing all players, regardless of skill level, to their full soccer potential. Vision elements include being the competitive soccer club of choice for youth players, maintaining high-caliber coaches and staff, demonstrating consistent success at the highest levels of youth soccer, reflecting the diversity of Seattle’s soccer community, and having resources and facilities that support club operations and program needs.
Seattle United also provides assistance to Seattle Youth Soccer Association with community outreach, recreational coach development, and player training options. The leadership and governance team includes roles such as director of soccer, executive director, technical director, boys and girls directors of coaching, regional program directors, camps director, college coordinator, certified athletic trainer, registrar, and a board that includes a president, vice presidents, treasurer, secretary, and directors-at-large.
