Orion Fencing

Orion Fencing offers Introduction to Fencing Classes, private lessons, and summer camps. The program includes classes in Foil, Epee, and Sabre for all skill levels, and open classes begin at age 6. Private lessons are offered to students as young as 3 years old, and every student is invited to attend the first fencing class free of charge.

About the provider

Orion's head coach is Justin Meehan. The program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and Justin Meehan is an internationally certified Wheelchair Fencing Referee and a nationally recognized Wheelchair Fencing Coach. The program regularly hosts National and International Para Fencing Camps and states that its mission is to make fencing accessible to anyone who wants to try it.

Every student is invited to attend their first fencing class free of charge. We offer a free private lesson and demonstration before asking for any commitment to the program. Students need to arrive in long athletic pants (no shorts), a t-shirt or athletic shirt, and close toed athletic shoes. We welcome beginners to experienced fencers.
