Youth Climbing Programs and Camps offers Youth Intro Class, Youth Classes, Summer Camps, CLIMB 101 - Bouldering, CLIMB 201 - Learn to Belay, CLIMB 301 - Lead Climbing, TECH 101 - Fundamentals, TECH 201 - Efficiency, TECH 301 - Dynamics, and private coaching. Youth Intro Class teaches top-rope climbing and bouldering fundamentals for youth 12 and under. Youth Classes cover basic climbing technique, gym etiquette, and belaying for ages 9 and older. Summer Camps include climbing on 36-foot climbing walls and high rope elements.

Programs

  • Youth Intro Class — 6 to 12 · Single-session class teaching fundamentals of top-rope climbing and bouldering for youth 12 and under. No experience required.
  • Youth Classes — 6 and older; available in U9, U11, U13, U15 · Four 1-hour sessions for youth interested in progressing as a climber in a structured environment. Youth learn basic climbing technique, gym etiquette, and how to belay (9 and older only).
  • Summer Camps — Level I (6-8), Level II (9-12), Level III (12+) · Monday to Friday, 9:00 am-12:00 pm or 1:00 pm-4:00 pm · $188–$235 · 5 sessions from Monday to Friday; runs mid-June through mid-August; no experience required.
  • CLIMB 101 - Bouldering — Introductory class for climbing discipline.
  • CLIMB 201 - Learn to Belay — Ages 12 and older · Register for the CLIMB201 Class and enjoy a week of climbing with rentals starting the day of the class. No prior experience is necessary, and CLIMB101 is not required.
  • CLIMB 301 - Lead Climbing — 6 months of prior belay and climbing experience is required.
  • TECH 101 - Fundamentals — One of three climbing movement levels in the TECH series.
  • TECH 201 - Efficiency — One of three climbing movement levels in the TECH series.
  • TECH 301 - Dynamics — One of three climbing movement levels in the TECH series.
