About
Northwest Association for Blind Athletes Programs & Services offers sports and physical activity opportunities, including powerlifting and swim. The program also includes week-long residential camp experiences for participants who are blind and visually impaired. Programs and services serve individuals of all ages and abilities who are blind and visually impaired and offer opportunities in more than 15 sports.

Founded in 2007, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes is led by Billy Henry, Founder, President & CEO. The organization’s mission is to provide life-changing blind and visually impaired. Northwest Association for Blind Athletes is a national leader dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, youth, and adults through participation in sports and physical activity in communities across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. The program has delivered 2,200 program and service hours and has built a Sports Adaptations Library with more than 250 pieces of equipment available to lend, along with a lending library of equipment and educational videos to make activities accessible. The organization involves 300 volunteers across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, hosts a premier annual event called the Rise Dinner & Auction, and offers many ways to help including donating and volunteering.
