Phoenix Farm Riding Lesson Program is a family-owned hunter/jumper equestrian facility that offers lessons, lease options, professional training programs, and full-care boarding. The School Horse Lease Program includes one independent practice ride per week, a pro-rated monthly board fee, routine farrier and vet charges, and an option of lessons. Full leases include board, five lessons and training rides, and one practice ride per week, and full lessees are responsible for all expenses related to that horse, including their share of chiropractic, massage, non-routine veterinary, and supplement expenses, with additional charges for horses with special shoeing needs and all leases subject to trainer approval. Payment is due at the first lesson of each month, and due to a full schedule, Phoenix Farm Riding Lesson Program is unable to offer make-up lessons and currently has a waitlist for beginner lessons.
Head trainer and owner Teri Duplass has decades of experience teaching in the hunter/jumper world in the Pacific Northwest and focuses on helping riders become complete equestrians at all levels, from learning horsemanship skills to stepping into the show ring. Phoenix Farm Riding Lesson Program states that its purpose is to provide safe and enjoyable horseback riding lessons in an educational environment that encourages students to develop into complete horsemen and women, with a goal of offering quality instruction and a strong base of knowledge and ability for students who continue in competition or pleasure riding.
