Valley Sports Academy Soccer / Guardians Soccer Club includes soccer tryouts, league games, tournaments, indoor and outdoor training, individualized and small group instruction, fundamental skills clinics, camps, programs, club soccer, and weight room training. Guardians Soccer players receive 2 practices per week, 12–16 league games split between fall and spring, 3 fall tournaments, and 3 spring tournaments, with the program noting roughly 80+ hours of soccer training and development. Evaluation criteria at tryouts include technical ability, tactical ability, physical ability, and psychological attributes, and players are asked to try out with their true age group, with those showing exceptional ability potentially considered for higher team placement.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Guardians SC 2026–2027 tryouts run July 25–28, 2026 in two-hour and 75-minute blocks, with supplemental tryouts by appointment July 29–August 4, and player placement/tryout sessions on June 11 and June 13 from 5:30–6:45pm; U10–U15 Guardians season practices tentatively run August 5–October 18 in fall and March 10–June 22 in spring, and the program notes roughly 80+ hours of soccer training and development.
• Price: $50 fee for 2026–2027 Guardians SC tryouts (including a tryout shirt and two tryout dates), $20 non-refundable 10U Girls tryout registration, $950 registration for the Local Travel Team / Northwest Classic League, and $180 for Guardians uniforms.

Valley Sports Academy Soccer / Guardians Soccer Club is comprised of 13 competitive youth soccer teams supporting over 200 players, with players and families from neighboring communities across the Chippewa Valley. Teams at or older than the U12 level participate in Twin Cities Soccer League (TCSL), and teams at or younger than the U11 level participate in WYSA Northwest Classic League (NWCL). Guardians Soccer Club TCSL teams use the Field of Dreams in Hudson, Wisconsin as their home complex and compete against clubs from around the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area, while NWCL teams compete across WYSA District 9 against clubs from Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, New Richmond, Rice Lake, Tomah, and other smaller communities. Both TCSL and NWCL teams represent the club at tournaments around the Midwest, including past events such as the Target USA Cup and Spring Kickoff Challenge in Blaine, Minnesota, the Coulee Cup in La Crosse, Wisconsin, the ECU Invitational in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and other tournaments in Appleton, Racine, and Rockford.

Guardians Soccer players receive indoor and outdoor training with practices held regardless of weather, and training sessions take place in a competitive environment with experienced professional coaches leading the sessions. Guardians uniforms run on a two-year cycle, with the upcoming kit being new compared to the 2023–24 season, and uniforms include one blue jersey, one white jersey, one pair of blue playing shorts, one pair of white playing socks, one pair of blue playing socks, and two practice shirts, with extra socks and soccer bags available to purchase. Guardians families receive a 20% discount on additional training programs, camps, clinics, and apparel outside of the Guardians soccer program.

Valley Sports Academy was founded in 2020 by Brian Seubert. The mission of VSA Soccer is to provide instructional yet competitive soccer programs and training that will grow and motivate all players to be the best version of themselves. VSA Soccer athletes can access individualized instruction, small group instruction, fundamental skills clinics, camps, programs, club soccer, and weight room training, and Valley Sports Academy emphasizes building a solid foundation of functional strength in its sports performance programs. Valley Sports Academy is 100% open to the public, and it states that every athlete is believed to deserve access to high quality training regardless of financial circumstances.

Valley Sports Academy collaborates with The Village Project and Guildara to offer scholarships to athletes in need and invites donations to support young athletes in the Chippewa Valley. The facility is described as a multi-sport training facility with a Studio Ice Rink, Synthetic Ice Rink, Skating Treadmill, Rapid Shot/Hands, multiple other training tools, and a strength training facility. The mission of VSA Soccer and the broader Valley Sports Academy programs includes providing customized coaching, training experiences, and unique opportunities on the field while practicing core life values.
