Menomonie Theater Guild Youth Programs involve young people in auditions, rehearsals, set building, and summer camp productions. Menomonie Theater Guild Youth Programs are part of the Menomonie Theater Guild, which has been active since December 1958 and is the oldest existing community theater organization in Western Wisconsin. The organization’s mission states that it aspires to create a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming theatrical community based on respect and collaboration, with a goal of creating inclusive and accessible theater for all. The Guild’s Main Stage productions have been presented for over 60 years, and the organization is described as fostering culture within the region. The leadership team includes President Sifia Jevne, Vice-President Nell Heifner-Johnson, Treasurer Julee Reckin-Thierer, Secretary Sandy Nevin, Public Relations Chair Courtney Eberle, Volunteer Chair LeAnne Talberg, Members-at-Large Tricia Thompson, Maddie Olson, and Bethany Risler, Props Chair Robin Shay, Costume Chair Elaine Lacksonen, Play Reading Chair Courtney Ernste, Sets Co-Chairs Bob Butterfield and Jared Robinson, Lighting Chair Seth and Monica, and a Sound Chair position that is currently open. Families are instructed to use street parking, as the parking lots next to the Menomonie Theater Guild building are permit-only.
