Wisconsin Humane Society Camps

Wisconsin Humane Society Camps offers fun-filled weeklong summer camps and one-day camps during the school year for students who love animals. Each year brings new adventures and activities connected to the organization’s busy urban wildlife hospital and resource center, which cares for over 5,000 sick, injured, or orphaned wild animals of nearly 150 different species every year. The goal of this work is to rehabilitate these animals and release them back into the wild.

Licensed wildlife rehabilitator staff work with animals at the wildlife hospital and resource center. Through the Wildlife Hotline, staff assist over 12,000 callers each year by helping them understand animal behaviors and by providing information to humanely and effectively prevent or resolve conflicts with wildlife. The Wisconsin Humane Society states that it is committed to making a difference for animals and the people who love them. The organization also partners with PetSmart Adoption Center – Green Bay West and Petco Adoption Center – Lake Geneva to facilitate adoptions outside of its shelter walls.
