About
Signature Dance Company offers professional dance training and dance classes that include ballet, modern, jazz, African, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater. The program also offers an Intermediate/Advanced African Class, a Summer Arts Intensive Camp, and the Summer Arts 2026 Session 2 Mini Show.

Signature Dance Company is a performance dance company for women and girls ages 3 years old through adults in Milwaukee, WI. Its mission is sharing, without compromise, all God-given gifts and talents while helping others realize their own. Signature Dance Company combines the technique and ministry of dance, provides mentorship and accountability, and offers a single, unified company with four distinct skill levels.
Signature Dance Company has 20+ years of ministry. The leadership team includes Founder and Board Chaplain Tecia Sellers; Co-Founder and Board Chair Desiree Cocroft; and Co-Founder and Executive Director Ms. Malaika Osei. The Board of Directors includes Desiree Cocroft, Tecia Sellers, Cierra Chesir, Tiffany Chin Moore, Symphony Swan, and Breona Stone, PhD. Tecia Sellers has earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management. Desiree Cocroft completed her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. Ms. Malaika Osei holds a Master’s Degree in Public Service with a focus on Criminal Justice Administration from Marquette University.
Signature Dance Company partners with local churches and youth organizations to deliver dance instruction at their locations. The program describes itself as faith-centered, with a focus on sharing God-given gifts without compromise, and emphasizes mentorship, accountability, and a community described as a safe sisterhood where participants are known by name.
One participant, Brook, now a leader in the Junior Company, says, “Signature has given me another family... It’s a safe space for me to be me. It has also helped me to get and stay closer to God.” Brook’s parent, Toria, says, “I’ve watched Brook’s personality and character blossom. Signature’s values reinforce what I am teaching her at home... it is a community to support you as you raise your child.”
