Signature Dance Company is a performance dance company for women and girls ages 3 years old through adults in Milwaukee, WI, with a mission of sharing, without compromise, all their God gifts and talents while helping others realize their own. The Board of Directors includes Desiree Cocroft, Board Chair, Co-Founder, Destination Life Owner and CEO; Tecia Sellers, Board Chaplain, Co-Founder, US Department of Health and Human Services Program Specialist; Cierra Chesir, Board Member, Thee Traveling Attorney LLC Owner and Operator; Tiffany Chin Moore, Board Member, Schneider Electric Senior Director of Quality; Symphony Swan, Board Member, Ruth Foundation for the Arts Manager of Public Initiatives; and Breona Stone, PhD, Board Member, Loving Venti, LLC Managing Director of Research and Strategy. Tecia Sellers has earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management, Desiree Cocroft completed her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010, and Ms. Malaika Osei has a Master’s Degree in Public Service with a focus on Criminal Justice Administration from Marquette University.
Signature Dance Company partners with local churches and youth organizations to deliver high-quality dance instruction directly to participants’ doorsteps. The organization invites support to help keep the arts accessible, stating that support provides scholarships, costumes, and safe spaces for Milwaukee’s youth. An upcoming 2026 production, “Hopeless(ful),” is described as a family-friendly dance production that explores the challenges of today’s world through movement, music, and storytelling. Company auditions are described as a way to empower girls and women to discover their God-given gifts and talents through professional dance training, mentorship, and faith.
