About
Boys & Girls Brigade Programs and Camp Onaway bring together groups of 10–15 youth to take part in swimming, tubing, water skiing, crafts, sports, games, and other physical activities. The program also includes Karate, team tournaments, basketball, canoeing, sand volleyball, and music lessons. Participants spend time in workshops, guest speaker sessions, and small group discussions as part of the regular programming.

• Schedule: Grades 5–12 weeknight program starts the week of September 28, 2026
Since 1900, the Boys & Girls Brigade has provided a community center for youth. The organization describes its mission as building character and instilling youth with wholesome values. It also offers weeknight programs, Fall/Winter Hobby Clubs, international and student outreach, music and tech programs, scholarship funding opportunities, and ways to volunteer, fund, donate, or apply. A camp packing list is available for Camp Onaway. One former participant shared, “I found a lot of comfort in that red brick building known as Brigade. I could always count on it to refill me. I’ve made lifelong friendships and learned the true value of hard work.”
