Lake Edge Learning Center

Lake Edge Learning Center is a nature-based play school where children spend time barefooted, tree climbing, frog holding, mud pie baking, cloud spotting, puddle jumping, bird calling, wild foraging, moon gazing, firefly chasing, fort building, creek following, and rock hunting. Classes are held outside as much as weather permits, and nature is integrated into the indoor spaces, with play areas that look like a natural area rather than structured play equipment.

Lake Edge Learning Center describes its approach as nature based with wrap around childcare, with nature infused in all aspects of the program.
