Glacial Community YMCA Youth Programs

Glacial Community YMCA Youth Programs include activities such as group exercise classes, pickleball, pick up basketball, racquetball, volleyball, wallyball, use of a climbing wall, and pool access. The programs also offer wellness workshops such as “EGYM and Beyond” and “Gardening Basics for Beginners,” as well as Healthy Minds “Creative Connections Collage Workshop.” Children and youth events include Parent's Night Out in the Kid's Gym, Youth Nights: After Hours, Live Yers: Youth Night, Game On! Middle School Night, and community events such as Y-NOT-TRI 2026 and Easter at the Y.

• Schedule: Activities and events are scheduled on various days, including Thursday wellness workshops, Friday Parent's Night Out and Game On! Middle School Night, Saturday youth nights, Sunday community events, and evening Healthy Minds workshops.
• Price: Trip Cost: $2,600 per person; non-refundable $450 deposit due at time of registration (Montenegro Outreach Mission Trip).

The Glacial Community YMCA states its mission as “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.” The organization is part of a nonprofit network of over 2,700 Ys in 10,000 communities across the United States. Since 2017, the Glacial Community Y has formed international partnerships, including with Esperanza Viva in Puebla, Mexico, the YMCA of Valparaiso in Chile, and a community gym and outreach ministry in Montenegro. The programs are connected to broader initiatives such as mission trips and service, the Montenegro Outreach Mission Trip, the Military Outreach Initiative, Pathways Membership, and Workplace Wellness.
