About

After-School Programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh offers after-school and non-school day care during the school year and summer. When Club members enter the facility, they scan their Club card into the member management system or sign in at the front desk with their first and last name if they do not have their card, and they scan or sign out when they leave. Club members who leave the building may not return until the following day.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: After-school care from school dismissal until early evening on school days, with non-school day and summer programs running during daytime hours Monday–Friday
• Price: A non-school day fee will apply; after-school care has its own separate fee structure

During the school year, the Radford Center and Quest Program run Monday through Friday from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and The CLUB Teen Center runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. After School Care Sites and Community Learning Center (CLC) sites are open from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. during the school year, including on early dismissal days. Non-school day programs run Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and summer programs run Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On days when school is canceled, the Club will strive to open by 8:00 a.m. and will close at 5:30 p.m. The Club is closed for regular programming on Saturday and Sunday, but special events are occasionally scheduled on weekends.

The CLUB Teen Center has an open-door policy, and teens ages 13 and older may depart from the Club at their own discretion. At the Radford Center, all youth ages 7–12 who depart from the Club must be picked up by an authorized adult or have a permission slip on file that allows them to leave unaccompanied. Children ages 5–6 may not leave the Club unless they have been signed out by an authorized adult. If a staff member suspects that a parent or guardian picking up a child is under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, or that it would otherwise be unsafe to release the child into that person’s care, staff may ask for another family member to pick up the child or contact the proper authorities. Parents can sign up for Remind to receive text notifications about weather-related openings and closings and emergency situations.

The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is a United Way agency and is a proud sponsor of Healthy Habits and Triple Play programs.
