Glacial Community YMCA Youth Programs include activities such as group exercise classes, pickleball, pick up basketball, racquetball, volleyball and wallyball, and use of a climbing wall. The program also offers wellness workshops such as “EGYM and Beyond” and “Gardening Basics for Beginners,” as well as Children & Youth Nights including Parent's Night Out in the Kid's Gym, Youth Nights: After Hours, Live Yers: Youth Night, and Game On! Middle School Night. Additional offerings include community events like Easter at the Y and Y-NOT-TRI 2026, Healthy Minds Creative Connections Collage Workshops, and spiritual options such as Mission Trips & Service, Prayer Request, and Spiritual Programs.

• Price: Montenegro Outreach Mission Trip cost is $2,600 per person, with a non-refundable $450 deposit due at registration.
The Glacial Community YMCA states its mission as “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.” The organization is part of a nonprofit network of over 2,700 Ys in 10,000 communities across the United States. Its community involvement includes partnerships with Esperanza Viva in Puebla, Mexico, the YMCA of Valparaiso in Chile, and a community gym and outreach ministry in Montenegro, with multiple teams sent over the first few years of these partnerships. The Montenegro Outreach Mission Trip requires a valid passport and includes transportation, lodging, food while on-site, insurance, ministry expenses, and team t-shirts. The Glacial Community YMCA decided in 2017 to take its mission international by forming these partnerships, and Bruce Osborn serves as Director of Spiritual Development.
