Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area offers after-school programming for members in grades 3–12 at several club and school-based sites. The program includes a Boys & Girls Club for 3rd–5th graders and The CLUB Teen Center for 6th–12th graders, along with additional middle school and teen locations that operate on school days.

The Caroline S. Mark Site includes the Boys & Girls Club for 3rd–5th graders and The CLUB Teen Center for 6th–12th graders, both open on school days Monday–Friday from 3–7 p.m. The D.C. Everest Middle School Site is open only to D.C. Everest Middle School students on school days Monday–Friday from 2:30–6:30 p.m. The CLUB at Greenheck Field House serves members in 8th–12th grades and is open on school days Monday–Friday from 2:45–7 p.m. The Prairie River Middle School Site is open only to Prairie River Middle School students on school days Monday–Friday from 3:30–6:30 p.m.
The mission of Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area is to enrich and transform the lives of young people, especially those who need the Club most. The organization states that it is dedicated to ensuring that all kids have access to quality programs and services that will enhance their daily lives and shape positive futures. It focuses on daily access to programs and activities to support Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. The Club also provides members with mentoring opportunities that connect them to the Club and their community. It is open five days a week throughout the year and serves more than 2,000 registered members at four locations, with an additional 3,500 children supported through various outreach initiatives.
