Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area

Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area offers daily access to programs and activities that focus on Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. The program includes mentoring opportunities that connect members to the Club and their community, with staff, volunteers, and mentors providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment. The Club is open five days a week throughout the year across multiple sites that serve members in grades 3–12, including locations specifically for middle school students.

The mission of Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area is to enrich and transform the lives of young people, especially those who need the Club most. The organization serves more than 2,000 registered members at four locations, with an additional 3,500 children supported through various outreach initiatives. The Club is dedicated to ensuring that all kids have access to quality programs and services that will enhance their daily lives and shape positive futures, and it emphasizes character, community, education, and diversity during critical out-of-school hours. At the Club, kids and teens have the right to be themselves, feel a sense of belonging, and have access to opportunities that support their futures.
