WRCT Youth Theatre is part of Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre and includes youth productions, a youth musical, a teen musical, and a HOPO production. Participants may also be involved in main stage productions, fundraising events, and small productions in the Lois Cantin Studio Theatre.

Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre was formed in 1975 and has been providing theatre productions in Central Wisconsin since that time. WRCT is a non-professional community theatre that uses local talent throughout the entire production process and offers a year-round schedule that includes four main stage productions, three youth productions, Silver Foxes senior theatre productions, fundraising events, and small productions in the Lois Cantin Studio Theatre. Youth productions are split into a Youth Musical for ages 8–11 and a Teen Musical for ages 12–19, and the HOPO production includes ages 8–18. WRCT is a nonprofit organization that is dependent on contributions, sponsorships, and grants, and it receives support from the Earl L. and Corrine A. Otto Community Theatre Endowment Trust. WRCT is run by one full-time staff member who reports to a board of directors, and Gretchen is the Executive Director. The organization’s mission is to encourage community collaboration and well-being through the performing arts, and it values inclusiveness, learning, risk-taking, and respect for all involved. WRCT is a proud member of the American Association of Community Theatre and partners with many other organizations in the community.
